Honor Flight Twin Cities is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s World War II Veterans for all of their Sacrifices. We transport our heroes at no cost to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to World War II Veterans have never been to Washington DC to see the WWII Memorial. We fly from the Twin Cities early in the morning and spend a full day in our nation’s capital, then return to the Twin Cities that same evening, to be welcomed by our loved ones. For the Veterans, and also for the Guardian volunteers who go along, this is an emotional journey as well as a physical one. UTVS attends the Honor Flight every semester and documents the journey with the veterans.
